Right now, i have; - Spells that are 'magic items', because i can turn a magic items effects on and off. - Nonmagical gear that are 'feats', because i cant make nonmagical gear. - Subclass features that are 'magic items', for the same reason as spells. - Class's that are built entirely using 'feats'
My request is specifically, make it so i can apply modifiers like "kensei" to magic items, or feats, not just subclass's. Im working with what ive got right now, but it hurts knowing that half of my tools are locked behind different barriers. knowing i could make my magic item work if i turned it into a subclass really sucks.
Also, please let us add 'conditions' and 'actions' and all those other modifier types to anything, or even just magic items/feats.
Homebrew non-magic equipment is planned (though only weapons and armor should be providing a mechanical change, so I'm not sure why you need to use feats).
Homebrew base classes are planned.
A homebrew tools overhaul is planned.
I hope that makes you feel better, even if it is not directly helpful.

There's a homebrew overhaul on the roadmap, so hopefully things like this will be refined
