I was browsing dnd books when I thought of an idea for a cool class combining some bard like aspects and some gnome like abilities in order to create a class that is designed to mess with the dice. However, when I went to try and make it it, I only saw an option for creating sub-classes. As there is a creation tool for completely home-brew races, it does not seem unreasonable for there to be a class creator. I get that it would be tricky to program to make room for things like added spells or bonus proficiencies and the like, but the folks here have already programed some awesome stuff, and I would love to see a class creator!
A base race is about as complex as a single level of a class. Homebrewing base classes would be around 10 times more complicated than homebrewing a subclass (about 30 times more complicated than making a single base race).
Yeah, I agree that you can't really compare a class to a race in terms of homebrewing complexity, but I would like to see the option to make your own classes and variant classes

So far this session I have hit my teammates twice, flat-out missed 3 times, and only hit the enemy twice. Trust me, you don't want to borrow my dice.

It's on the roadmap. But on your point comparing base races to base classes, they're worlds apart in terms of complexity.
