I'd like to see an API for the characters that could be used by sites such as Roll20 as well that would let us keep characters in one place, which I feel is the goal of this site/application. It'd still be up to the 3rd party sites to utilize the API on their sites but it's something that I agree would be fantastic to offer up.
Are there currently such plans now or for the future?
A integration with Fantasy Grounds would be awesome, there is a website that converts the XML file into PDF but isn't so good, I would love to see a flexible API.
Just searched to find this topic and would like to give it my vote of approval as well. API for characters and homebrew assets in Phases 2 and 3 would be fantastic to support the great existing 3rd party DnD communities and tools.
I was going to start a topic on this very thing. At the very least, it would allow us to build tools around this stuff to our DM'ing life easier. Hopefully phase 2/3 bring something that does this.
I wouldn't have a problem with this but I still love th feel of the die being cast from my hand... so it's not that big an issue to me. But I would assume that eventually D&DBeyond would have their own die roller...
I'm interested in this topic- I'd like to integrate my combat tracker, Improved Initiative, with content from D&D Beyond so I'm looking forward to official support.

So far, I like what I'm seeing. Will go bug hunting more thoroughly in a day or two.
Just had a question though. Will there be plans to be able to integrate Beyond into 3rd party online play systems such as Roll20?
Thanks! And keep it going!

Darn trick bag...
Any official update to this thread? Is there any 3rd party developer resources yet?
