I know that you can make homebrew magic items, but you can't make any bog-standard items. For example, in one of my games as GM, I wanted my characters to find Kraken Bait but I couldn't make it unless it was considered a magic item. I also wanted to make "writers tools" and a "notebook" that they could find and use but I couldn't without making them common magic items, WHICH THEY AREN'T!
I also would really like it if they made one of the categories for magic items "accessories" or something of the sort that included rings, cloaks, boots, and gloves and everything else like that, (this wouldn't include things like beads of force or dimensional shackles), however items like helm of telepathy wouldn't go to "accessories" and instead get moved to the amour category.
On an extremely different message, I wish for the pre-made images you had a list of images of the same race as well as the same class. This would make it way easier, especially for classes like bard, which are few and far between.
