Background; Im new to dnd. But I've played other RPG and know a bit about medival weapons and stuff. And I think that among the "Great-weapons" there should be a Great Warhammer option. And when looking at the other Great weapons, I think d10 damage would be appropriate. The Greataxe has d12 for example. If we instead choose to just keep the Greatclub as a universol weapon class to symbolise all clubs and hammer, then the damage should be changed from d8, that it has right now, to d10 i think.
But, getting of topic. To get to the point. This woulden't be a big problem if we could make Homebrew standar equipment weapons. Then I could just change the damage on my club or hammer or make a new proposal for a weapon. Why don't we have that? We can make homebrews for everything else, so why not this? Or have I missed something?
