When editing common equipment like a Laser Rifle it would be nice if you could edit the amount of damage it could do as a base stat or modifier because right now I want to create some future tech weapons for a campaign I am running and it looks like I will have to make it from scratch at this rate. Addendum please also consider adding the misfire property to other items besides Exandria based weapons and the homebrew creator. Also a way to remove Bad News and other such weapons base damage off a homebrew item using that weapon as a template would be nice.

Being able to change base damage or create custom base weapons is a common request and one that has already been added to DDB's future plans.
You can recreate any custom weapon property (like misfire) by using the special property and a description.
