As long as they're already on the character sheet you can use them, but if you, for example, change the race you will lose access to it. So it won't affect current characters, only future characters or characters where it is removed in the future.

Also my other question is, are dhampirs gone like no longer available to the public or are the getting a rework done on them? Like what does it mean when something gets archived?
Unearthed Arcana is Playtest material. When Wizards of the Coasts asks D&D Beyond archives it. That means it's no longer available to the public. In some cases it gets added to a new book, and in other cases it gets reworked, and finally in some cases it will just be discontinued and not used.

Recently i just found out that the dhampir has been archived. does that mean the dhampir are no longer available or what?
also I have a few characters made with the dhampir race does that mean i cant use them anymore?

So.. does that mean that the dhampir is no longer available as a race?
