It's race is human variant, so it gets a feat at level one.
The feat I chose is Menacing, which among other things gives me proficiency in the intimidate skill. It is supposed to give me double my proficiency bonus if I am already proficient in the intimidate skill. The thing is (that's where I guess a bad coding occurred) on my character sheet I get that double proficiency bonus even though there is no other source giving me proficiency in the intimidate skill; only the menacing feat.
There is a circle around the proficiency dot for the intimidation skill, clearly showing an "expertise" status, hinting that the double proficiency parameter from "menacing" is triggered. I wasn't sure if there was something in my class choices or background that could have given me the "intimidate" skill without me noticing, but I found nothing. Furthermore, I tried removing the feat "menacing" and when I do, I lose all proficiency bonuses in "intimidate".
So clearly, when I put "menacing" I automatically get a double proficiency bonus, whereas I am supposed to just get a simple proficiency in it.
Anyone can shed light on the matter if there is something I've missed ?
Otherwise, I wouldn't be agaisnt having +7 in a skill at level one, but you know... it should be fixed =D
That feat was in Unearthed Arcana at one point, but has since been removed. You are probably using a homebrewed version of that feat that was incorrectly coded. When you look at the feat details on your character sheet, Features & Traits, does it show a source (e.g. "PHB, pg. 170")? If not, then it's a homebrew, and you need to talk to the person who made it.

naruhoodie is right, this is not an official feat on D&D Beyond and has been homebrewed by somebody. It's possible if your character is in a campaign that has content sharing on that one of your fellow players made this, or else it was added to your collection from the section of homebrew feats. (In which case, it's liable to be removed for violating the homebrew rules and guidelines.)
Oh wait, I think maybe I actually created it myself on my own homebrew content because a DM allowed it in a previous campaign a long time ago and I just forgot that I added it myself.
Now that I think about it, I'm pretty sure that is the situation.
So wait, is this a violation of some kind? Can't I add anything I want to my custom contents?
But I didn't really have a chance to actually code anything, I just used the create feat option from the homebrew section. It's great and there are many options but I didn't find any way for the feat to give expertise as a conditional bonus if the character already has proficiency. So I'm just adjusting the proficiency manually from the sheet.
Well, if it's just you using the feat on 1 character, then you can adjust the modifier however you need, giving Proficiency if your PC isn't proficient or Expertise if they are.

Hi there, I have just created a level 1 bard.
It's race is human variant, so it gets a feat at level one.

Yes it does show a source. It says BR, pg. 31.

If it's private or campaign-shared homebrew, then it's fine, so long as you don't publish it.
But if you're the one who made it, you should talk to yourself about how it was coded ;)

I guess I should lol

Anyways, thanks y'all =D
