Myself and 3 others in our game are trying to roll advantage/disadvantage. However when we right click on our attack and then pick either disadvantage or advantage all that happens is that the discription of the attack comes up and D&D Beyond doesn't roll at all. Seems something is wrong with D&D Beyond.
I've run into that problem and reported the issue. For now, text-zoom in or out on your browser (with CTRL + or -) and try again, repeat if it's still not working. (There's a bit of a sweet spot maybe? I hope it's correctable at some point.)
Edit: Well, only do this if you the Info-bar covers up the Rollbox. But yeah, you need to click Roll, since the box is letting you change other settings like whether the roll is shown to everyone or just yourself/the DM.
Do you have any extensions that may be interfering? Third-party extensions such as Beyond20 and AboveVTT may have unintended interactions with the character sheet, and disabling these may fix the problem.

make sure you click roll underneath, once you select advantage or disadvantage.
