So when a monk wears armor they lose their martial arts meaning their unarmed strikes become, 1+ their attack mod. But I noticed that when I was wearing armor on my astral self monk the arms of the astral self still displayed the martial arts damage (1d4+4 for me at the time) so I thought "oh cool you can wear armor and keep your martial arts damage as long as you have your astral arms summoned" and began building my character around this. now that I've leveled it up and my martial arts die is more than 1d4 I've noticed that the astral arms still only display 1d4+4 when armored instead of the higher martial arts die. which now leads me to believe this is unintended and the astral arms while armored should display 1+attack mod just as the normal unarmed strikes do. Which is a shame because I was excited about the prospects of a heavy armor monk was going to take feats instead of bolstering my ac with ability score improvements.

Thanks for the heads up - I've passed this along to the team.
yeah, it's displayed correctly with armor unequipped.
