So I got a new chromebook, and last night I downloaded DnDBeyond through the app store. Yesterday I was able to roll dice, but today when I actually need it, there's no options. I went to the setting for dice, and I see it enabled, but no way to actually roll. I then went into the deeper settings by going through the campaign, manage character, then saw another option for dice rolling. When I click it, it enables for a second, then it immediately turns off again. What would cause this?
been having this issue myself still trying to sort it out... I hear it is something about graphics acceleration and chrome web browser but having no luck past that
It works on the website but not in the application still.
I Have the Asus CX5 it's a great Chromebook but this app just doesn't care to see my GPU. Even with crostini enabled.
I switched to using the website but the website doesn't cache all my books etc so I rely on my bandwidth which uses my network card more which eats my battery more etc... Really want the app to work :-( didn't buy all these books in this format to use a sub par format
This is a Chromebook issue with the Google Play Store app, not a Chrome web browser issue. I have the same problem. Worked fine then one day the app updated and I can no longer roll in the app. On my Chromebook in the Chrome browser I can still roll the dice without issue.
I also have this issue and searched the forums to just confirm I'm not the only one. It worked till literally a few days ago after a ChromeOS update, and now it won't work.
And I just tested this on a non-chromebook... I have a Samsung Note 10.1 2014 edition. This is regular table but 10 inch screen. Same issue. I then tested on a Samsung Tab A 8 inch screen and it works. I am goin to assume at this point the issue is on bigger screens it can't/won't render the touch points..

bump
Don't know if you are still having problems but I've just resolved this on my chromebook.
In chrome type > chrome://flags
search "Crostini GPU Support" and change the default to enabled.
Hope this helps.

I don't think the developers read any of this....

Mobile site works fine.

I managed to get a bit further through this issue:
1. hold down the "rollable" until a menu comes up.
2. click "roll"
the dice-roller flashes a few times in the corner and nothing further happens (no actual die rolled)
The dragon symbol doesn't even come up for manual rolling.
Support Information:
app_version: 2.46 (18451)
System_version: android 30
Device_model: octopus
Manufacturer: Google

I didn't even think to add the Support Information! Nice one.
Any response? I am having the same problem
Nope, It seems since WotC acquired them the app isn't a priority...
