I suddenly have a problem with my dnd beyond character sheet where, when I click the actions or spells, it no longer rolls the dice for them and instead it opens the side bar to the right with information about the item/action.
It's inconsistent. I can roll skill checks fine, and i can roll some spells, such as lightning lure and tasha's mind whipe, but other spells, such as thunderwave and booming blade, just open the side bar instead.
When i click the numbers to the right (like the =9 to hit) it also just opens the side bar instead of rolling.
I can roll attacks by right clicking the to hit number, selecting the roll type (advantage, normal, etc) and then clicking 'roll'
I also noticed with thunderwave that when i scroll down my spells, it doesnt show that its upcasting - it says '1st' nexct to it instead os showing thats its being upcast - other spells will say the relevant level instead (like 3rd, 4th, etc) to show they are being upcast.
Basically, the character sheet is treating some actions like they just open info windows, and others it treats nromally and rolls.
I found a few threads with similar isues but not a single one of them ever arrived at a conclusion. I dont have adblock or beyond20, and I tried deleting all cookies and history. I'm using google chrome. Chrome is up to date. I have dice rolling turned on in the character sheet settings.

Can anyone help?
Can you possibly provide a video or gif of this behaviour? I've just fired up several character sheets and rolling is working fine for all of them
Your issue is likely caused by an extension, such as Beyond20. Nothing D&D Beyond can do about that.

I have the same problem. I've tried this on multiple browsers, including some that do not have beyond 20. I've tried multiple machines. I've uninstalled Beyond 20 across ALL browsers and machines, deleted all cookies/permissions for both DDB and Beyond20, deleted all cached files for both DDB and Beyond20, closed all browsers and rebooted. I still get the same behavior. I pulled it up on my Pixel 8 Pro, Chrome browser (can't even run beyond 20 there), and I still get the same behavior. So, unless Beyond 20 has the ability to change settings on your account that you can't change yourself, someone want to explain to me how that is the problem?
Several of us had the same problem last night last night, even though this is an old thread. If I toggle off the Beyond20 extension, they roll properly. But when beyond20 is on:
Attack rolls, damage rolls and Skill checks roll and report to Roll20 normally.
Basic stat checks (con, str, dex) and Saving throws do not roll - they just display the sidebar description
Initiative rolls but does not report to Roll20 (yes we had our tokens selected)
Update: Workaround is possible. Workaround: right click on the faulty items (the +2 or whatever) and hit roll from there. Then it rolls and reports.

I've removed Beyond20 - Issue is still on going
I have friends that don't use anything but the sheet it's self and they are having the same issue .
Please get this fix it's annoying as hell and one of my DM's is making everyone use the inhouse sheet on roll 20 ( that sucks ) because of this.
give us the browser version, the version of the dndbeyond site (can be found in the edit page of the character), any extension you are using, etc
really not experiencing this on the latest version of chrome and even with beyond 20 (latest version) installed
Fire fox - Version 126.0.1
@dndbeyond/character-app@1.59.3
Both with and without Beyond 20 2.9.3
Howevever it now seems to be resolved mostly

That is beyond 20 extension, there are pull requests with fixes already in the github repository for beyond 20 awaiting review and acceptance.
I wont link to the repository but you can find easily enough if you google beyond20 github.
