Over the coming days and weeks, you may notice pages redirecting from dnd.wizards.com to dndbeyond.com. D&D Beyond is at the core of the D&D experience. It offers digital tools to play the game, a marketplace with physical and digital books, and the latest D&D news. You’ll even find Unearthed Arcana materials for you to playtest and forums to talk about the game or find a group.
We are consolidating information and resources to improve your experience on D&D Beyond. You can learn more about the move in the latest Community Update. If you spot any 404 errors, please post them here for easy visibility! Thank you!
Any word on why you removed the ability to purchase just a race, subclass, or spell? I get the overall idea of making more money but, what about us poor people that can not afford to buy whole books just to use a little bit of it? Any thoughts on returning that feature? Seem like a big change with little to no info on why or future plans, etc.
I don't know if this is a 404 or not but there are a few folks unable to access their character sheets. The players in my campaign copied their character sheets and then their original characters started showing up.
Please fix the site. My character sheet has been down for several hours and I don't want to have to copy the sheet because I use the URL for other tools like Foundry.

Your players workaround saved my character for today's session
I copied the character for which I was receiving error 500 from the "My Characters" section; I opened the copy of the character sheet and a few minutes later the original character sheet was accessible again
This new "update" broke things even more. Starting to look elsewhere for my content to be held. Such a waste if my money isnt going to keeping things FUNCTIONAL.

This update wasn't for anything on D&D Beyond, it was for redirecting links TO D&D Beyond for content previously hosted elsewhere

During the d and d direct include a third party for 5e coming to d and d beyond content road map. It is no longer fun being surprised when something gets on d and d beyond people want monthly releases of third party 5e content on d and d beyond or at the latest every other month probably every other month would be more reasonable and we want to know what third party content is coming and when. There is no hype or excitement around being surprised by what we get anymore. So during the direct please for all the d and d fans if you truly want us happy include some useful information and give us a road map for when and what third party content for fifth edition will be on d and d beyond.
Ok Wizards, hopefully someone brings this post to your attention.
You are a business that works a lot of different people with different jobs and focuses, we get that. Some people are focused on making the next set of rules. Some people work out the technical side of things to make sure this program works. Some people just see numbers all day and their job is to make a profit for the company. We understand this. Do you want to keep making money with D&D Beyond???
Hopefully you are listening now. You'll need server space. Make a tab with a drop-down list. This list needs to have the complete books for each edition of D&D. If someone wants to play 3.5 Edition, they could with D&D Beyond. You already have all of those books and it's as simple as the process that was utilized to bring 5th Edition to the original creators of this website.
How it works, you select which ruleset you are wanting to play and then it changes over to that rule set. All reference materials and searches are focused in on that Edition's books. Character sheets, weapons, everything will utilize the edition's version of those things. While we wait for whatever this 2024 edition is supposed to be you could be scanning in entire previous editions of the game and making money again from those editions. Perhaps word hasn't gotten to the CEOs at Wizards or Hasbro, but if you look at the forums on Reddit and Facebook there are still plenty of people who play the older editions religiously.
Lastly, give us a selector switch to turn off 2024 from our 2014 rulesets because it is messing up how we play 5E.

I am having this issue as well, thanks for the work around. For the record, I still can't open the original character, but I can open the copy.

when inspecting the console
set_window_name_and_image has failed after 30 attempts. window.PLAYER_NAME: , window.PLAYER_IMG: undefined
The character in question has a character image from the default selection
Hello! I noticed that the "Dragon Talk" section under "Media" just redirects to the front page of D&D Beyond. Thought to point that out!

For the same number of days I cannot get my PC pics to upload into the website. App seems to be fine. How are you going to fix this?
