No, it's not fixed. I also got a new email confirming my order. Then, 2.5 hours later, I got ANOTHER email saying my payment method failed, then another cancellation notice. I already sent an update to my original support ticket. (I also paid with PayPal, without issue originally.)
So, if you get a "Confirmation of order" email, you are NOT DONE.
Got the confirmation of order email this morning a little about 4 hours ago as if this post. No charges to my payment method. No cancellation yet. However I never received anything related to redeeming the Dragons of D&D digital book and the goodies we were supposed to receive with the digital and physical preorder.

Worried now. Like I didn't get an email canceling the new order but I'm not seeing any indication that I've been charged. It stinks that we're all in this limbo of not being sure if we're getting a product we all paid for. Would love a little more communication with us on this matter.
For those asking about the preorder bonuses I received mine on the third so you should have gotten them by now.
Ugh. I sent a separate ticket for the missing bonuses but I guess that went unread as well amidst all this chaos. I already replied to their previous email stating that my ticket was still unresolved. I just hope it'll come eventually, even if it's late.
I didn't get the notice, but I did get the dice. No dragon artbook I can find. Check your dice page and see if they're on it? Do't forget to synch entitlements or whatever they are.
You should have gotten an email with a code for the gold dice, and a download link for the artbook (it's a PDF download).
I got the email with those on September 3rd.

I'm not sure that my problem fits in either of those scenarios. I ordered the bundle, but the order only shows 5 items; the 3 digital, 2 physical, but no physical PHB. I haven't received any emails about order cancelations. I checked my spam folders too.
Already charged for the digital, canceled Players HB, other two books processing.
I think the math should be $22.49 USD (no tax) for each digital book ($67.47 USD total for me).
Then 37.50 +tax for each of the physical books to make the ~$179 USD price.
If they would just give us all full refunds we could just order the bundle again with a different payment. Provided they do not change the sale price on or after the 17th.
I received an email last night 2024-09-14 with a second order placed on my account automatically for the PHB, with the correct price ($37.50 USD discounted). However, it also has a PayPal payment method and not an updated CC which is now set as my default payment. I fear this order will also have a problem. =(
Just wanted to share that I also received the email that the PHB Physical purchase went through and confirmed that PayPal was charged the correct amount .
received the bulk info email. and it took 2 days (and a bump in this thread to Latia D&D person) before i got the email with instructions/codes to re-preorder the physical PHB.
Given that my bank statements are telling me that Wizards never refunded me any of the initial charge, I've now been double billed for the 20204 Players Handbook. No one has once commented on my initial ticket. I hope no one else has had this happen to them.
It's entirely possible that I'm wrong and part of the initial charge to my account from Wizards was refunded, but there's no PayPal record of that.
LaTia, when you get back on Monday (assuming you get back then) I'd deeply appreciate an actual phone number and human being to speak to so we can untangle this. It would be simple enough to refund my card if my initial payment was not refunded at any point, but I think it's contingent on Wizards to show me where it was because PayPal has no record of that any refund, it only has a record of my initial debit.
For example: If you pre-order a Digital/Physical Book bundle for $59.99 ($79.99 with a $20 Bundle Discount), card will initially receive an authorization for for $59.99 + Tax & Shipping. The final charge on the transaction will be applied as $22.49 + Tax for the Digital content ($29.99 - $7.50 Discount). When the physical book starts shipping, you will then receive a separate charge for $37.50 + Tax & Shipping ($59.99 - $12.49 Discount).
How does WoTC view this method of billing as 'ok' and not a deceptive practice? To the customer when Marketplace presents the full discount being on the digital content.
If I go and add the PHB 2024 Physical Digital bundle to my cart I'm shown Digital regularly priced at 29.99, discounted to 10 and Physical 49.99. So to then actually bill me 22.49 for the digital and 37.50 for the physical is 100% not what you told me you are going to do and not the prices I, as a customer, agreed upon at the time of checkout. Sure, the end result is the same dollar amount but you'd mislead me and it has become apparent now that you're having to explain this billing debacle.
Edit: After a quick google search I kinda' feel like this qualifies as 'Deceptive Pricing' ... which is prohibited by the FTC....
Can't post a screenshot here, but I just added the preorder to my cart again just to see what comes up, and sure enough, I wasn't imagining the price breakdown as it was initially presented. Three physical books, all full price, plus three digital books at 10 bucks a pop. (Of course, now we know that this was broken down differently, but only after the purchase was made.) Try it yourself!
Whether intentional or not, I think this is one of the factors that makes customers feel like they're being taken advantage of. If anyone did the digital and physical rulebook preorder, thinking they were getting the physical copies at full price and more heavily discounted digital copies to go along with it, then -- sure, you could cancel the physical portion and just go to your local store to buy the books as they are released, but now you're out of pocket $67.47 for the digital copies, instead of the $30.00 you were initially expecting. And yes, I suppose you could submit a ticket to customer service if you wanted to challenge that, but... well, I'm not sure how confident folks are that those sorts of issues would get resolved.
I had already saved off screenshots of the cart and LaTia's explanation post about this... just in case I needed them... for ... things....
100% agree that WoTC not charging customer as described in the cart is a problem and for me absolutely leads to a break-down of trust. In my opinion they need to fix this ASAP so that the Cart accurately represents the charges, not post some stupid disclaimer on their website that nobody is going to go read. The problem for them, as I see it, is that 22.50 is still to expensive for most people to want to buy digital only content. The only reason I pre-ordered these books at all was to get the digitals for $10. I'm not sure I would have pulled the trigger if the 'deal' was presented to me accurately. Which goes back to my point that, while I'm not a lawyer, this seems a lot like a deceptive pricing practice on the part of WoTC and I think their Legal Department needs to get involved before they screw themselves over.
Like others have commented, I received an e-mail confirming my order of the Physical PHB as part of the physical/digital bundle pre-order. That came in at 5:28 AM this morning CST. Then about a half hour ago, received another payment failed message followed quickly by a message stating that my order for the physical PHB was once again cancelled. This is ridiculous. Neither Paypal nor my bank has a declined charge. This really isn't that hard to figure out folks.
This is the LAST time I order physical ANYTHING from Wizards off their Marketplace. I'd expect this level of confusion from Bob's Shipping, not WOTC and Hasbro - unbelievable. Guess I'll update my ticket and see what happens...

Good to know, and gratz.
I, on the other hand, gor the reorder email 7 hours ago, and then...crickets.
This is getting wayyyy to stressful, lol.
So at 7:23 est I got the email saying my order has been confirmed.
At 2:36 est(like 20 mins ago) I received a charge for it on PayPal. So if you're still waiting it might happen soon!
I'm happy that this seems like it's solved for me right now. Still upset at the whole situation though. Good luck to everyone!
So, the Paypal charge for the 2024 PHB just went through.
I am also part of this as well.
per-ordered with paypal.
Already charged for the digital, canceled Players HB, other two books processing.

FYI...
received the bulk info email. and it took 2 days (and a bump in this thread to Latia D&D person) before i got the email with instructions/codes to re-preorder the physical PHB.
also, i did NOT use paypal.
Just got the email that PayPal authorized the purchase.
I'll post an update when I get confirmation of shipped product.
Yup, same here. My payment went through for the appropriate amount.
Thinking positive thoughts...

I received a PayPal authorization! The PHB charge of $40.13 is showing on my account as paid. Huzzah for me, now if it ships, I'm all good.
But for those whose PayPals are declining again, oof. I am very sorry. Hope you get a real fix, and soon.
I received the order confirmed email at 7:30 a.m.
I didn't receive confirmation from PayPal (or the credit card it's connected to) until 5:30 p.m.
