I’m trying to claim a couple of the free items from the “12 Days of D&D” campaign.
I fill out the first page of the checkout system, click next to go to payment, and it doesn’t move forward - it just scrolls back up to the top of the page.
There’s a message at the top saying “🎁 Holiday delivery (contiguous US only): Place standard shipping orders by December 12th and expedited orders by December 19th to ensure delivery by December 25th.” I don’t know if it’s trying to highlight this to me, though it’s not relevant as I’m buying digital products outside the US.
Am I missing something obvious? I’ve filled everything in and haven’t had this issue before.
EDIT: I HAVE A FIX
Try updating the saved address they already have for you, and seeing if any compulsory info is not included in the saved address. For me it was my phone number.
Same here.. hope they can sort it out.. it worked once a couple of days ago and now just sits at payment and won't proceed no matter how many times I click the button.

According to another thread I read: apparently this problem might be triggered if you aren't within the Contiguous United States... because of "holiday shipping"... of a digital good... Well done WOTC...
I much preferred how they had done it in previous years where you "opened" the item once it was unlocked. I do not own a card. So the free gift was so much better when it brought you to the site where you could click "claim free gift" without having to input everything
I got it to work: it seems that the site doesn't properly store addresses (why they are needed for "shipping" a digital good is beyond me); when reaching the shipping tab, you'll have to open the "update address" option and fill in the missing field(s); for Canadians that's Province apparently... Then also re-enter payment details... For a free item... Yeah; this was not implemented well.
Also: double-check if you already own items; that will require going to their marketplace pages directly. That might also be confusing the site if tryign to check out with a "mixed data set" so to speak.
In case the info helps others, I have been having these issues too but did manage to get it to work today when I saw the address system has a mandatory 'state' option that contains a 'non-US/other' option (pretty unusual for address systems). My saved address didn't have that box filled so it may be a new thing?
EDIT: Unfortunately the fix only seemed a one-off, and system seems to keep getting confused in random ways (including setting my address to be in the US, and just rejecting my payment option anyway). I was planning to buy the new rulebooks over Christmas so am sad this means I likely won't be able to. Fear it will be the same for a lot of people.
this time I took off all the items I had already had and it did go through. I just think it is extremely sus that we have to give credit card information for a balance of 0.
I'm having the same problem, I filled out the missing thing in my shipping address, and now it won't let me proceed because I need to select to buy it as a gift and I cant do that because it literally won't let me, first a la carte and now this, I might start looking for a different site to use
My address was already saved, and I hadn’t bothered to check it. However, if I selected the address and then clicked Update Address, a mini form appeared with a space for my phone number, which was blank, but had a red asterisk showing it as compulsory.
I added my phone number to the pre-saved address, and finally I was able to move forward!

the new marketplace is such a mess. the older site was perfect. why did they change it?
such scummy practices. surely hasbro influence.
Polish wizard from Italy (Central Europe Time - GMT+1).
I get the same behaviour.
I'm trying to claim the free 12 days of D&D content but I get an order error:
The payment you submitted is not valid. Please re-enter payment information.
Its free? Thats the problem? The system can't process a 0$ transaction?
I also am having the issue with the same error.
^ same issue. I agree that the older site was better. You could also exclude content from the view that you already own.

SAME Issue
Good Day party members
I'm also getting this same issue, and likewise being told that, quote, "The payment you submitted is not valid. Please re-enter payment information."
I found I had to check the box for 'gift' in order to move forward.
HOWEVER - WHY does it make you put in credit card or ANY information for a ZERO balance - seems stupid to me.
Same problem here.

No that's not it. I'm having the same issue. I'm in the US.
Checking that didn't do squat for me unfortunately, and I'm in the US as well.

Just go back to 'claim' and not 'purchase'.

I HAVE A FIX!
This is the most annoying thing…

I'm also struggling, it's forcing me to buy it as a gift but the purchase as a gift checkbox isn't working.
