Sat down to continue Forge of Fury tonight after populating all my maps with homebrew versions of all the enemies (I have SIX level 4 players so I need to add more cowbell to all the enemies). Most of them were found in the Homebrew catalog people have published but 1-2 were ones I created.
So I fire up the Maps and we all join and then we start trying to do Rolls. And nothing broadcasts. Initiative rolls don't broadcast. Skill checks don't broadcast.
We tried Pausing/Resuming the Map.
We tried refreshing the browser.
We tried a different browser.
We tried rebooting.
I tried deleting almost all the homebrew enemies.
I tried switching maps.
I tried logging out and back into DNDBeyond.
Every time we Unpause the game, the previous rolls people did suddenly get shared, but no new rolls show up. We tried for an hour to get this to work.
At wit's end. Basically tonight's session is a wash because DNDBeyond won't work and won't tell us why. Every google search or reddit search just mentions Roll20. We're not using Roll20. We're using base DNDBeyond without AboveVTT.
Not playing with homebrew enemies is not an option. If DNDBeyond is crashing reading a homebrew stat block, it needs to throw an error and indicate which monster is causing the problem. Ideally, the Homebrew monster editor needs to do validation checking.
Update: Deleted every single enemy in the entire dungeon. Rolls still don't broadcast between players in the campaign or between players < > DM.
We have the AboveVTT plugin installed but we aren't using it.
Another Update: We all uninstalled AboveVTT. We now have virgin DNDBeyond on Edge or Firefox with a map and ZERO enemies, and we're still having these synch problems where rolls by players aren't seen by the DM or other players and vice versa. Refreshing causes the previous rolls to come through but no further updates are shown.
In the bottom right corner of Maps with the "Game Info" button, it only shows 3 connected players. I guess this is who has the browser open to Maps?
Anyway, I tried deleting and re-adding tokens and got the Connected Players up to 5.
Out of curiosity I removed and reinvited a player. And then the following happened. Now, DNDBeyond tells me, the DM, that Kymoni is not part of the campaign but on all the player's screens, she is part of the campaign.

Totally stuck at this point.

How am I supposed to proceed at this point? Yes I am paying for Premium.
Update: After 20 minutes I refreshed and see the 7 characters. Holy hell.
