Ok that makes sense. But there should be a better way to track spell slots for this class. Since you still have to track spell slots used.
Can you clarify what you mean?
At 10th level a warlock has only 2 pact spell slots and they are 5th level.
On the character sheet, click the box [ CAST ] next to the spell name to track that you cast a spell. Once you have cast two of them, the character sheet knows you have used both spell slots and will disallow further spell casting using spell slots, until the character takes a rest to regain slots.
The character sheet shows your remaining pact spell slots as I circled below.
i understand that. but how you describe i would only be able to cast 2 spells at 5th level. Then i would run out of spells at a lvl 10. I still have spell slots 1-4 i can use. But there is no tracker on them/
They have two slots for pact spells at 10th level and that is it - they regain them from a short rest though (rather than a long rest like other casters) and have numerous other magical abilities from Eldritch Invocations.
If you wish to play a class that has lots of spells, then Sorcerer or Wizard is a better pick.
So why is it in the dnd beyond description of warlock it states i got other slots than 5th? For example, when you are 5th level, you have two 3rd-level spell slots. To cast the 1st-level spell witch bolt, you must spend one of those slots, and you cast it as a 3rd-level spell. There is no way to track that on the charc sheet.
That's ok - Warlocks are a bit weird with the way their spell casting works. I remember reading and re-reading those rules several times myself trying to figure how it worked!
Yes i made a character on my friends campaign. He is an | Aasimar | Warlock lvl 10. Does this happen to anyone else or how can i correct this?
That is how warlocks work.

That's not how the warlock class works - they don't have any lower level spell slots. :)
