If you are a level 5 character with a strength modifier of -1 and a proficiency bonus of +3 (Stone of Good Luck (Luckstone)) and have given yourself a custom skill based off strength (Intimidation using Strength Modifier), lastly set the Proficiency to Half Proficiency and it will calculate to 0.5 instead of 0.
I am not sure if it is supposed to calculate to 0 or 1, but pretty sure it shouldn't be 0.5
Also, I do realize that the Bug is that Half Proficiency on Custom Skills doesn't round down. That is why I posted it here so that they would be able to look into it. Either Way, I fixed it using my Chrome Extension and even added an option to do a simple proficiency calculation for skills without ability modifiers. (I do not mean for this to sound as rude as it does. The whole attitude in text makes it seem like it is coming off mean, when that isn't my intention.)
Since I have zero plans to never not use my plugin, this bug is basically fixed for me and those using my extension, but it is still something the developers should take a look into fixing.
Just ran into this myself. Gave my players a custom skill, "Current Affairs." The bard has Jack of All Trades, and just leveled up to Level 5, meaning a Proficiency Bonus of +3.
The system thinks this means a +1.5 should be added to the custom skill, rather than a rounded-down +1 like was added to the standard skills.
Yes, we can (and will) override it for the time being (although remembering to remove the override when the Proficiency Bonus goes up again might be cumbersome.) But I wanted to point out that this is still an issue, and that there's at least one more person who's run into it.

I couldn't reproduce this the 2 ways I tried it.
Can you link to the affected character?
Yeah, I can give Character
I also forgot to mention that you need to set the proficiency to half proficiency. Because its a bard character with Jack of All Trades.
Ok. I was able to reproduce it now.
The bug is that half proficiency on custom skills doesn't round down like it is supposed to.
Also, stone of good luck (luckstone) doesn't work on custom skills (Jack of all trades may not work on them either, didn't check).
So mouse0270, you will need to add a custom +1 to the skill and remember to round down.
Thanks for pointing out that Stone of Good Luck (Luckstone) I added the Magic Bonus Manually.
