I'd like to create a feat that has a number of uses equal to the character's proficiency bonus. Is there a way to do that? I can make it appear in the snippet using {{proficiency}} but I can't seem to do it in the spell section of the feat. Any thoughts?
When creating the limited use value for the action, you can set multiple different "Limited Use" qualities that have different levels. You cannot do this through the "Spell" section, it must be done through the "Action" section, which is where the limited use boxes come from on other features.
You can use this to set the uses to "2" assigned to level 1, "3" assigned to level 5, etc. etc.
This will only work on homebrew types that have Action/Limited Use available. Which I believe is subclasses, races, and feats.
I've got a similar issue. The feature grants 2 options at level 3, and gradually gains all 5 options. I want the whole group to be used a number of times equal to the proficiency bonus, however, as I've worked through it, each option gets uses equal to the proficiency bonus, resulting in [6 uses each] vs [6 total] per short rest.
Is there a way to say "Uses of Feature = Proficiency Bonus; where Feature has ## Options to choose from"?

You can make the uses tracked separately (like ki).

I don't think this is fully possible at the moment. You could try giving a limited number of uses and just adjust the limit manually as needed.

Hope that helps.
Thank you MellieDM! This worked!

Thank you. I knew there was a way, but wasn't able to connect the dots.
