Thanks guys, but what I meant was characters that I created unassigned and then were claimed by the players for the adventure. Is there a way to copy or unclaim them?
The players that claimed the characters will have an option to unclaim when they view their campaigns. Only they can unclaim and allow you to "reuse" the characters.

You can't copy another player's character, but they can unassign it the same way you did, then you can claim it back.
I made pregen characters for a one-shot and I would like to be able to make copies to use for future times I run it.
Alternately, a way to unclaim a character would be great too.
Thanks!
You can unassign your own characters in a campaign, no problem.
To answer your other question, you can create a copy of a character you own by clicking the "Copy" option when on the "My Characters" page.
I thought this was the case, but the option does not appear if you are a free account with 6 character (which I am).
