I created a homebrew spell that was available for a variety of classes and subclasses, yet for some reason it shows as always prepared for one of my one of the classes that I am using it with. I was wondering why this happened and if it is possible to remove the always prepared tag as my DM and I had agreed it was a spell that he should be able to prepare but not have always prepared.
Some classes (like cleric, druid, and paladin) always have their subclass spells prepared. Try only setting the spell to be available to classes and not subclasses.
You can create an updated version of the published spell by going to the spell in your Creations and clicking Create New Version on the spell. You can't delete homebrew once published, but your updated version (if published) will supersede your original version. I believe it won't automatically update on other players' character sheets if they have downloaded the original, but I'm not personally in the habit of publishing homebrew or adding homebrew to my collection that I didn't create.

What do I do if the spell I made is published? Can I fix it or am I stuck with the published version?
