Hi, I own the PHB, DMG, and Tasha's, however I can't make my gnome an artificer or my warlock have an Archfey patron. I've tried to build my characters both online and in the D&D beyond app where I have all of my books downloaded. What's going on? Can I get some help please!!!
Patrons are the powerful beings that Warlocks make pacts with, it determines their subclass. Try making a Warlock and you might see the Patron option at their 3rd level.

Warlocks get their patron at level 1, and I'm only given the fiend as an option.
