Could it possible that you could add prices to all items so that you can go on a shopping spree on Beyond between sessions from the gold you've earned during game sessions?
All items that officially have prices have them listed currently. Any items that you can't see prices on, such as magic items, don't actually have fixed official prices.
Black Citadel also has a page for Potion costs, as well.
TBH, I prefer BC since a few of the items are a little cheaper, but not by much. 5eMS is more comprehensive & extensive, and there's a sliding scale below the header, meaning a DM or PC can adjust prices...although I can envision some shady players/DMs maybe tweaking the market a bit too much one way or another...
And, yes, these sites are not part of DDB, but since a bunch of magic items have no price - and every outside source may be frowned upon (or "looking the other way," so to speak) by DDB - well, everyone wants some wiggle room now and then...
Much like reality though, E.g. 5k-20k items would rarely fetch the same price anywhere. The demand/haggle/regional rarity/supply variables would create a wide range. I suspect this is the purpose for WoC to not list exact prices. A "haggle" d20 table would be great. when rolling up characters one could roll to see if they could talk the seller down. Add a component of CHA/INT DC in there too. The DM could set rarity/supply/demand factor into it as well, for the specific campaign. E.g. price is 2.5x normal in "low magic" campaigns.

That would be really good.

Why is that exactly?

Because that's how Wizards of the Coast designed things.

Luckily, beyond D&D Beyond, on other DnD-related content sites, there are two I know of:
5eMagic Shop: Magic Item Price Checker — Magic Item Shop Generator
and
Black Citadel: Magic Items Pricing Guide DnD 5e – Costs and Considerations – Black Citadel RPG

Good luck y'all.
Yeah...I'm probably gonna get reprimanded for possibly mentioning offsite, uh...websites.
There are no site rules against linking to outside websites, but all linked content must follow site rules.
However, if it suspect doing something will bring you afoul of the site rules, the does beg the question why you would do it?
