I've been sitting on this idea for a while now, searched a bit around on the forums, but didn't find anything similar so here we go:
When Creating a new campaign, the DM should be able to set the campaign to any premade module, and automatically get every encounter into the encounter builder through this.
For instance: If I were to run LMoP, I'd like to be able to pick this in the campaign creator/editor, and then when I enter the "Encounters" tab, the first encounter on the list would be "Goblin Ambush" already laid out with 4 goblins for me.
(Also, it would be awesome if I could add extra enemies through a search function in the "Manual entry" part of the combat tracker.)
I used to talk to Player Characters, but then they made a meme out of guards who used to be adventurers until they took an arrow to the knee, and after that, I just didn't feel my 2 copper opinion was all that interesting, to be honest.
There are similar request entries back to 2019. Note that without this feature I see almost zero reason to buy online adventures (and I haven’t) beyond having them online with no page numbers to reference (ick)
I don’t know their business model but my guess is a LOT of dnd players like actual books, but could easily be swayed to purchasing online content instead or additionally if this feature were created even at a basic level where the user could add/delete monsters manually as needed to tailor the options
it might get people to subscribe also, or they could provide the encounters with online book purchase but still limit non subscribers to a handful of custom encounters beyond the purchased ones
I think this feature would be especially valuable to parent who / DM who can’t dedicate their spare time to making adventures or setting them up
Pasted this in another thread with the same request but repeating anyway: this would be a massive boon to DMs running the official modules. Whilst it doesn't take much time at all to prep them in advance, it would be a very welcome quality of life update.

Or even if that wasn't the case. If you could at least click on the encounters on the random encounters table and that linked you to a pre-made encounter and you then select the active campaign that would also be good.
Thanks for bringing this up. I'm hoping this idea can get traction and I agree, I would gladly pay the monthly sub for DDB if the encounters for official work was available as premade encounters I could use.
Also, they could open it to content creators who could use an API or something to create files they can share and be uploaded or preloadded on DDB can use to prepopulate the encounter tool for the home brew content they sell on the various sites such as dmsguild.

Hi!

That would be great!
