I don't know if any of the Maps team still watches this thread
It's been repeated a few times that the Maps team doesn't monitor the forums, let alone this thread, for feedback. Instead feedback should be given through the Feedback tool within Maps itself
i tried finding the feedback button on the maps its self but all i have is the report image option. but i would love a text tool for maps where we could make a text box to mark things, i use maps to project city maps on a tv for my players as well as a encounter tracker. i do all of my combat on the table with minis and dont have use for alot of the other cool added features but if a text box could be added that would be amazing

For that, I use LegendKeeper. It's got a great mapping and notation capability without all the overhead of something like WorldAnvil.
Maps officially has everything i need to do what i want. it is missing only a significant thing.... i want the ability to control the projector image from the DM screen. my TV is on the table and on the side. that means if i get my cursor to that TV i have weird controls hapenning to it. because the top becomes the left side, the bottom the right side and vice versa. so its way too awkward to control and i dont want the need to to take my mouse tothe other side just to control it. what i want is for me to control the screen from my DM screen.
exemple: if i activate a button, my panning and zooming is sent also to the projector screen. if i deactivate this feature, then my inputs aren't sent.
its quite a simple feature really and it would save me a lot of time and troubles.

@davyd just saying, its ridiculous to "officially" make a thread for feedback if you dont intend to look at it. thus, it means someone is looking at it and sending messages to the maps team. when it comes to the "official" teams and company, the forum team is probably the ones checking feedbacks here and then sending tickets to the other teams to tell them whats hapenning. well thats how many companies work so i assume thats how they do it. otherwise it would be stupid for the forum team to make official feedback threads just to never check them.

This isn't an official feedback thread for Maps though? It wasn't made by a moderator or staff but a regular user. The moderation team has regularly said both here and in the discord that feedback for Maps isn't taken through either channel and instead the feedback tool in maps should be used. There are no official Maps feedback threads anywhere on the forum, so I've not got a clue what you're talking about

For the big feedback, I still submit in the tool, and in the response link to a thread. Like for identifying that the Maps difficulty was broken. It works if you submit the thread in the feedback tool. Just don't link a wishlist thread.
Id like tokens for spell effects, its great we have cones and lines and can code them for different spells and effects. But the other day I used an animated weapon to represent the spiritual weapon and a fire elemental to represent a flaming sphere.
The stickers are great, but can we get some for dropped items and some of the other common dungeon items like leaving oil or cowtrops on the floor.
Know its not official here, but have used the feedback tool and thought this might boost the signal

I have a homebrew Flaming Sphere that I add into the Extras tab of characters who have the spell, so that it's easily retrievable from the "Companions" tab. You could easily do the same for Spiritual Weapon or other spells. What really annoys me is having to do it for the actual summoned creatures like Homunculus Servant which is never an actual placeable creature.

Hey, Davyd, can you give some clue as to how to find the Feedback tool within Maps?
I've used it before, but I can't find it now.
I'm looking at a map right now. On the left, is the toolbar, and the flyout is for Combat Encounter.
On the upper right, it's just Roll Privacy, Settings, and Keyboard Shortcuts.
On the lower right, Game Info is promising, but no Feedback in there.
Refresh the screen. It disappears regularly.
