Now I am unable to take advantage of the 50th anniversary sale online! I have never had this problem in the past, in fact I own digital copies of 80% of the complete library. When I reach checkout it won't let me advance to payment, instead it says I must go to a partner site because I live outside of the US. Okay, I will play along with this change...
When the partner site opens it only offers the core books on sale and no mention of the 50th anniversary! Wait, there is a button...for digital purchases only! Yes! I click on it and it takes be back to the Dnd Beyond site I started on and am familiar with. So the loop begins!!!
The 50th anniversary sale should state it is for domestic clients only. Too bad, I was a client from the early days of Dnd Beyond and have been running games since the early 80's. One more reason to give me pause and consider who has earned the right to benefit from my dollars.
Has anyone else encountered this? Why is the partner site a very pale comparison to the main site? Why make this change at all? Why send me endless marketing if it is not meant for me? I have been in the retail business (including online) for three decades, and this is a poor decision in every way. Am I missing something?
European here. I could be offended because it looks like that only US citizens are allowed to buy books of any kind on the marketplace now. I bought the new players handbook when it came out, no problem there. Suddenly I shall go to a partner website, that only sells digital+hardcover combos and the button for only the digital version sends me back to D&D Beyond, where they don't want my money.
Same issue here for me i submitted a ticket gave screenshot and all relevant info and was told they need even more info, Like just fix your payment issues why are they making us submit tickets to only fix the individuals instead of finding and fixing the root cause had to buy the 2024 playerhandbook from the partner website digital plus hardcopy because it was the only way for me to get it at this point so frustrating i want more books to be able to run my games with more items and monsters but im just gonna hold of until they finally fix the issue and make do with what i have
I am in Canada myself, and the Marketplace site won't accept my address. Even though I am ordering Digital only, it still insists on a US address even though it allows me to imput Canada as my Country.
In Canada as well and can't buy the partner content like LOTR and Flee Mortals. I can't believe WOTC can't get their marketplace working for multiple countries. Websites have been able to do this for decades! Take my money!!!
It may be different but I was having a major problem as well and then found this worked for me. I just tested again this minute and purchased another module so still works for me.
1. Added item to checkout
2. On shipping used update address link and filled in Province then Next Payment button
3. Order review button
4. Before using Place Order button use the Edit link in payment section and I re-enter my exact same credit card info as the one supposedly on file using new credit card from drop down list.
5. Leave the save credit card box checked in which case a message states that can't save due to one on file already but I ignore the message and continue and my purchase goes through.
Hopefully this helps some of the many many people who are struggling to purchase digital content from Canada.

Hi Bos,
I just had this issue too, I ended up disabling the Honey browser extension and it worked - Maybe something similar is happenning for you?
I sent in a ticket as well. It has now been resolved! Thanks for the reply malzork, I'm glad your issue was resolved as well.
How are things resolved? Many of us can not order digital content anymore in Canada.
