Hey guys, maybe I'm just missing something, but does anyone know how to put monsters as characters in encounters? i.e. I am running CoS, and my players have found Rictavio, and are now in combat. If I wanted to see what their CR would be with him in the party, and what kind of monsters they could fight, I would have to do that somewhere else, since DDB counts Rictavio as a monster. I hope people understand what I am saying. If this isn't something you can do, it TOTALY should be, as throughout my D&D career, there have been countless times when monsters have been on the parties side.
Not in the same way as a normal encounter. You could add the characters to the campaign, make a dummy battle with the regular characters and them, and then they would all be listed in the encounter. Wouldn't give you the ability to control them from the encounter builder, though.
I generally prefer to make a custom monster - create the character, then put it in as a homebrew monster with the things I will actually use from them. That way I can control them just like any other monster in the encounter builder https://speedtest.vet/https://vidmate.bid/.

Ok, thanks for the response!
What are the links for? They don't have anything too do with the post, and I find that more than a little confusing.
