The old Marketplace design showed you if you owned the product or only showed you if you didn't purchase it. But the redesign makes shopping via the marketplace nearly impossible as now I can't see if I own the product unless I click into the individual products, on top of that I have found that I often have to refresh the page to even get the little text that displays You own this digital product already
There really should be a way to filter out books you already own. Also, I shouldn't be forced to refresh after getting onto a book I already own to see the text You own this digital product already. I assume this check is happening after you open the page and then being displayed on the product, but given that its not consistently being displayed, this should be seriously looked at.
EDIT: Also, forgot to include that the Legendary Bundle Disc appears to have an issue, where its often times not calculated on the page itself. However, this does appear to reliably get added once you add the product to your cart. But It does make shopping feel very inconsistent. This bug bothers me less, because ultimately, the cost is less, so that's at least good, you end up spending less once added to cart, but it would be nice to have this reliably show.
So, it looks like the best way to shop the redesigned site is to just add everything to cart, then go through the cart to see actual prices with proper discounts along with if you already own the content. This appears to work far more reliably than shopping the site directly.
I am honestly surprised this doesn't have more visibility. I logged in today to do some browsing for new content. My group is coming off a lengthy campaign and I have not looked at the marketplace in some time. I distinctly remember how easy it was before to simply filter to content I did not already own, which made finding something new to review and potentially purchase a breeze. This new redesign absolutely breaks that flow. Everything being suggested to me as trending is stuff I already own and there is no discernable way to filter that out.
I will give credit where it is due, I absolutely enjoy the ability to buy physical copies bundled with digital copies now; definitely leave that in. But please figure out a way to filter out content already owned. I understand needing to see it at times if you want to buy a copy as a gift or if I need to replace a physical book, but there needs to be an easy toggleable filter that restores the prior functionality when I am just shopping for myself and for something new. I wanted to throw some money at you, instead I ended up getting frustrated and just walking away from the marketplace to come here.
I live in Ottawa, Canada. The new site will not allow me to order Digital products. It will not allow me to make orders using a Canadian address . . . period.
I have ordered many times from the D&D Beyond Marketplace. Now it will not accept a Canadian address, even though I am ordering only a Digital product. So much for Canadian customers. . .
The new Marketplace is just terrible, and virtually hasn't changed since its launch.
Everything is a freaking filter, I can't see all products, can't see what I already own, can't browse anything the way I want to, and it feels like it's gonna fall apart with every click. Absolutely nothing works better than before.
I'm an early adopter and I love D&D Beyond, but this development hell has been an issue for way too long. I lost count of how many features they started and never completed.
Encounter Builder, Generic Features System, Homebrew, QoL changes, Developer Update videos… It's incredibly frustrating.

Canadian customer with the same issue as Mergon. It's so odd. The new Marketplace is so buggy. It won't let me check out for a digital only product.
