We've been working on a campaign for ages and love using D&D Beyond. Problem is we have multi classed and have reached level 20. In the new Player's Handbook it talks about goin past level 20 with feats but can it be changed to allow legacy characters beyond level 20? We are kind of stuck and don't really want to have to go to pen and paper at this point, but we want to keep this campaign alive!
5e doesn't have any rules for leveling beyond 20 except the Epic Boons stuff, which is in both versions. Anything beyond that, you're out on your own.
Also, by the time you're level 20, you're all insanely powerful and the system's already starting to break down. (Arguably, it's well past "starting".) By that time, you should probably be looking to wrap the campaign.
