New to using the online stuff, but I see on the character sheet there is a place for Conditions.
Was looking to see if the list can be expanded to cover conditions like Bless, Rage, Hexed, or others not listed.
Then once selected it should affect your dice rolls automatically, like poisoned gives you disadvantage, etc...
And one last thing, if using the Maps, have it reflected on your character visually like a stacking ring of colors, right now the rings can’t show multiple affects.
They haven't even added a way to manually set starting class. the devs of this site are incredibly lazy and like won't do this but it is sadly a great idea
To be clear, Bless and Hexed aren't Conditions. They're spell effects. And there's a *LOT* more of them than the standard 5E conditions, let alone the homebrew ones.
If you want to homebrew your own methods though, there's tricks in the Homebrew forum using items and feats.
Rage is a special case where it should be handled, and is, though it's a little clunky.
Yep, sorry I used conditions as a overall thing, so basically I mean an affect on the player.
From a standpoint of programing the rules are already in the game for these things, how it affects dice and roles, so seems like it should be something simple to implement, just follow your own rules. Maybe allow for a build your own, name it, set the conditions of it, this way they don't have to program it all in, they can use it like building an action.
They've mentioned in places before that a lot of the backend stuff is simply custom code, not a cohesive interaction engine. So it's probably a lot of work to do each one individually. Personally, I was annoyed that there was no way to apply Mage Armor when I started using the system.
But it's another "We grew far faster than our codebase was designed for and haven't had the opportunity to rebuild the whole thing" which is probably something the Devs would also love to be able to do.
