Ideally, I'd like to see more advanced search options for the 'search everything' function. Options to choose to search specifically in different categories such as rules, equipment, monsters, feats, spells, etc. Also, the ability to search only through specific books would be immensely valuable.
As an alternative to a robust centralized search function could we at least get an actual rules section under the 'Game Rules' category since more or less everything else I can think of has a section there that comes with a decent (except for races which should let you search for things like 'dark vision') search function for the given category?
I'm honestly surprised this still doesn't exist, unless it does and I'm not seeing it. I own most of the books now, yet anytime I need to search for clarification or to double-check a rule it is usually pointless to try to do so on dndbeyond and I'm better off just turning to google and random pages where people answer the specific rules question. I don't like that being the best choice when I have an otherwise amazing tool and resource here.
At a minimum we need a search option to search only in books we own, but search in all of them at once. What the point of using the search tool to find content we don't have access to, and we do NOT want to purchase?

Yes. This is really a glaring omission.
