Imagine the style of the arabian belly dancer, with acrobatics with swordplay. A performer and a melee combatant combined. It means high dex and cha of course.
I am in a dilemma between Swashbuckler Rogue, Glamour/Swords bard.
What do you think and what are some other optional subclasses?
Plus, is a multiclass here worth it? Maybe with monk or each other...
College of Swords is thematically more suitable, but the Flourishes taking up uses of Bardic Inspiration is a bit off-putting for me. I prefer College of Valor for a more combat-oriented bard. Swashbuckler/Bard is a pretty good multiclass combo; I do not enjoy reducing the bard abilities though. Mechanically it's certainly viable and it'll be an improvement in melee combat over straight bard, so it's your call which character type you really want. Performer + melee combatant by itself is easy enough to cover, especially since picking up Performance from a background is an option.
A monk multiclass requires Wis as a good stat, so the demands on your stat array get quite high (you probably want to keep your Con north of average too, after all). There's also the Hexblade warlock, which pretty much just requires Cha as you'll be able to use that as your combat ability as well.

Want to start playing but don't have anyone to play with? You can try these options: [link].
You can do this by reskinning a straight up Monk. Reskin it by renaming 'Ki' to 'Blade Dance' or similar.
You'll have an AC based on Dexterity with a bit of a bump for your Wisdom, so you'll never feel that you need to start wearing armour to be useful and can keep your belly dancer aesthetic.
Choose Way of the Kensei, and then choose whatever weapons you want for your blade dancing. You'll have to make do with shortswords until level 3.
Take feats that will boost your Performance skill as high as you can.
All the monk's abilities focus on being agile, and you can dance to Deflect Missiles, can dance across liquids later on an so on.

You don't need Charisma, but I saw you already rejected someone else's suggestion of Bladesinger, which is fine. You can make a charisma character if you want to. You would avoid Monk for the same reason you're avoiding Bladesinger - you want Charisma, not Wisdom or Intelligence, apparently. That narrows down the classes work examining considerably. We can narrow it down further if you can narrow your focus - it's unclear how much spellcasting you want, for example. It does seem apparent you care about more than fighting naked, so we can dispense with Tortle-based solutions - you specifically want dex/cha.
You're looking at these classes and their subclasses:
Fighter
Notable subclasses for this: Battle Master, Eldritch Knight (dumping intelligence, so focusing on statless spells like Shield and Absorb Elements
Rogue
Notable subclasses: Swashbuckler, Arcane Trickster with statless spells
Warlock
Notable subclasses: Hexblade, of course. If you're building a Rogue/Warlock, Genie is also of particular note. Every other Warlock has too many reasons which are too good for avoiding swords and relying on eldritch blast.
Bard
Notable subclasses: Lore is particularly compelling - it'll behave in many ways like Swords but better, provided you can solve other problems other ways, like your AC. If you're only rocking a Bard dip, make sure to bail by Bard 5.
Sorcerer
Notable subclasses: Assuming this is just a dip, Divine and Shadow can both be good choices, depending on what you have in mind.
As you can see, many ways to do this. Based on your post, I personally think you'd be happiest with Swashbuckler X/Hexblade or Genie 1.

I'm not sure if you are aware of it but, there is a Wizard subclass called Bladesinging. Despite its' name, it is actually described as blade dancing.
I know, but it's too much to invest on dex, cha and int all together. It just fits less into the character.
