Our group uses Beyond20 and Roll20 when we play virtual. If you use the Encounter Builder with Beyond20 you can control the initiative from DDB and have it displayed in Roll20.
Is there any way to add familiars, pets, allies, etc. to the initiative tracker without using "manual entry". My party has had a familiar and several allies travel with them for multiple combats and it is no fun to enter those stats in by hand each time. Plus then you do not have access to the stat block inside the encounter. I've thought about adding allies and familiars as monsters to the encounter each time, but that is not much better, plus it screws up the CR. I've also wondered if the Encounter Builder could pull in Extras from the players' stat sheets. For familiars, this would be fine, but for allies I would have to give players access to the allies' stat sheets - not ideal.
I would love the ability to add PC friendly but DM controlled beasts and NPC monsters to the campaign page, and then have a toggle to control whether each would be included in encounters. The stat block of each would be controlled by the DM and the creatures' CR wouldn't go against the encounter CR (it would be great if it could actually help it).
This might be a little late to the party, but I've been using the initiative tracker from DmsTinyHut lately. I feel like it's nice and intuitive and quick to use. https://dmstinyhut.com/initiative-tracker

This has probably already been discussed.
I purchased the subscription version of D&D Beyond specifically for the Initiative tracker.
I can't seem to find it anymore, has it been removed?
Thank you in advance
No, it hasn't been removed? It's in "My Encounters," each encounter has a "run" button.
That, unfortunately, only the DM can see... not the players?

Very cool. I don't think Owlbear Rodeo is there yet.
Owlbear Rodeo has an initiative tracker. My GM used it for a game two days ago.
Find your own truth, choose your enemies carefully, and never deal with a dragon.
"Canon" is what's factual to D&D lore. "Cannon" is what you're going to be shot with if you keep getting the word wrong.
