I did look around some more and in the Beyond 20 popup on the character sheet, under advanced options there is a section to add custom dice bonuses. Its still pretty slow and cumbersome, a far cry from the ease most VTT character sheets let you add buffs/debuffs to rolls. But its there.
Its too bad, so much else on the character sheets is so good. But using it for play with a VTT without that makes it so much more clunky as to make it too difficult to use.
Is there any way to auto add bless, and similar buffs like enlarge, to rolls? Or a way to manually add the extra die to your attack or save roll?
No.

If you are using beyond20 browser extension with your VTT, then it is possible to use that to add a dice bonus to your dice rolls.
