Ive been trying to make and test homebrew magic items and there seems to be a very long time between updating the magic item and the changes being logged. This delay makes it difficult to test these items with a character before actually sharing them with the players to make sure they work as intended. Is this just me / My internet? or is this something other people have dealt with?
The cache is slow somewhat on purpose. Stuff is held on different servers or parts of the servers, and takes a while to propagate. You can sometimes force a refresh of some things by leveling a character back up and then down, or toggling the DM inspiration button, but sometimes you just have to wait -- usually about 15 minutes, but sometimes it can be much longer if the servers are feeling finicky.

Gotcha. Seemed that was the case. Thanks!
I sometimes will remove the item from the player's inventory and add it back in.
