I would like to create a homebrew item that is not magical and need assistance. To be specific, I want to create a buckler; back in the day it was a thing, and it is no longer an option. A buckler was a shield that provided only a +1 to the AC but it freed up your hand. It would also be available to more classes than a common shield, monks, rogues.
I also have other common items, weapons, and armor that I would like to homebrew that fall under the same example above.
There is not currently section for homebrew mundane items, (please add one devs) But the homebrew magic items section works fine in most cases. Hope this is helpful.

Hollow unbreakable arrows are the most OP common magic item, and my current method of coming up with insane combat shenanigans.
if you make a steel pipe with one end closed and a nozzle on the other, you can enlarge it, fill with any liquid, and then drop concentration, creating a high pressure squirt gun. (or a pipe bomb, depending if it holds)
