I just found out about these and wanted to see if anyone has any experience using them. They are electronically connected dice that allow you to roll physical dice and then have those results sent to a VTT like roll20 or Foundry. Playing online the feeling of rolling physical dice is missing, so this sounds like really cool thing if it works well.
Not sure if I'm allowed to post a link to their website, so if you just search godice it should come up.
P.S. Hopefully the drama doesn't bury this and someone will see it.
A friend, and one of my fellow gamers/GMs, just bought a pair of these on a whim. He's tested them and, thus far, is pretty ambivalent towards them.

"...or you can find the secret tunnel that leads to the Vault of Dickish DM which is filled with 10,000,000 copper coins and a 5,000 pound solid gold statue of a middle finger that is too big to fit through the door."
Slight necro here, but I bought one and so far it seems to be performing alright. I hate using online dice rollers, so this was a natural solution.
The dice does seem to have a slight tendency to "roll" twice when I only meant to roll once, and I'm not sure what's causing that. However when that happens, I just use the first roll, of course.
The only other gripe is that their online instructional video is not very helpful, and the dice itself doesn't come with any instructions at all.

So far, I'd give it a solid 7.5/10.
Perhaps you have inadvertently activated a roll with advantage option? Dunno. That'd wind me up, though.

If you're not willing or able to to discuss in good faith, then don't be surprised if I don't respond, there are better things in life for me to do than humour you. This signature is that response.
My one issue with mine (seems to roll well) is that in roll20 I'd like to be able to click on a weapon or spell, then roll, and have it roll like normal in roll20 but using the value from the GoDice d20. Right now all I can do is manually add a modifier

Yeah, that's what had happened. I had to uncheck the option that was counting multiple shakes in quick succession as a roll with advantage.
