I still think they are a big company with tons of cash. Making customers happy isn't really that expensive to them, they could if they wanted to. Since they don't I am done buying their books.
They are a big company with tons of cash. Making customers happy isn't really that expensive to them so they should send me a couple $100 bills. When you get right down to it, they're smaller than maps so it should be easier for them to satisfy my totally entitled and unreasonable request. And I am sure that their doing it for me won't prompt hundreds and hundreds of other requests for the same or even better treatment and freebies for others...
The request in the original post honestly seems a tad bit absurd.
If I sell you something, and you break it or lose it - not because my product is flawed, but because of your negligence or the negligence of workers you were paying - then it isn't up to me to reimburst you for it. For all Wizards knows, people who want refunds for "lost items" could have just bought the product and sold it to someone else. Replacing people's books when you aren't at fault and aren't fully sure of what happened to your content is not a good idea; It could easily lead to tons of scams if they gave some customers this privilege and others demanded it.
This not good will for customers, this is just flat-out bad business. Wizards of the Coast and Hasbro are big corporations because they don't give money and products out to anyone who asks. Yes, it would be nice to ask for D&D books and get them for free, but that's just not feasible and not how things are, ever have been, and ever will be.
WotC is not at fault here. Whoever misplaced the content in your box when you moved is. I am sorry that this happened to you, but it just isn't fair to ask a company to give you refunds on a lost product that they aren't responsible for you losing.

HERE.I can't remember where I parked my car. So the Hyundai dealership should just give me a new one. They're a big company. They can afford it.
