I’m trying to create custom magic items for the game I am running. These items will not require attunement and will be a part of the story line.
So the first item I’m trying to create is a Ring of Deadly Fists for the monk. It’s basically a +2, deals an additional 1d6 on top of their unarmed attack, if the enemy is undead its 2d6 extra. When a critical hit the creature needs to make a DC 15 reflex or be knocked prone for 2 rounds.
I tried to create it and add it to the player’s character but when I looked at the attack section it added +2 to their longbow attack and nothing to the unarmed attack.
How do you control this? what am I doing wrong or not doing?
what am I missing?
also, is there any way to make this a monk only item?
