It's taken me close to 6 hours to figure this out..
dndstore.wizards only caters to outside the US, but it adverts that if you preorder you can gain early access to the digital Vecna Eve of Ruin on May 7th. and displays a countdown clock of 02Days10Hr39Min45Sec
marketplace.dndbeyond however only states the release is on the 21st. and displays a countdown clock of 16d12h42m6s
Several weeks back they listed this on the preorder (before the marketplace update):
D&D Beyond digital copy of Vecna: Eve of Ruin
PREORDER TO UNLOCK:
D&D Beyond access to Vecna: Nest of the Eldritch Eye, starting April 16, 2024
Early access to Vecna: Eve of Ruin on D&D Beyond, starting May 7, 2024
Exclusive preorder perks including a digital dice set, 11 frames, and 4 backdrops
Question is... WILL I have early access on the 7th? OR did they change the deal after the fact? If changed after the fact, HOW do I gain early access?

It's worth pointing out that they generally don't release for another three hours yet, regardless. I don't know if you're entitled to the early release or not, but it's not usually out until after 3pm GMT.

If you're not willing or able to to discuss in good faith, then don't be surprised if I don't respond, there are better things in life for me to do than humour you. This signature is that response.
If you ordered the bundle, they'll have sent you a code by email that you enter into DDB.

I asked the same questions about the Prequel adventure. It should post to your sources today. I think Nest hit mine around 12 EST. Either way you should also get an email when it is active as well.
Pre-order early access is only for those who bought through the bundle through WotC store. If you're in the US and did not preorder before the marketplace changed on April 30th, you cannot get early access. People outside the US still can.
I made a video to discuss this among other things - it's the first thing discussed and there's chapters.

Wizards releases on a set schedule (i believe based on their west coast location), then there's the usual internet shenanigans that slow the roll-out across thousands of accounts (or more). Some people get it right away, others might have to wait up to an hour or two. It just takes time to propagate and the mobile app tends to run even further behind the web site.
Historically, they tend to do complete fulfillment within the first couple of hours, i've rarely seen it take longer then that and it's usually another issue that caused that delay.

My understanding is that early release is now if you order it through your FLGS but no more digital early releases.

The denial of early access for the bundle is only for US customers. Everyone else can get early digital access.

I ordered both the physical and digital bundle on March 18 under the assumption about May 7 early access. I am currently unable to access the bundle.
Indeed, HOW do I access it?
I’m wondering the same thing.

the marketplace includes a countdown that's currently at around...14d 1h 48m
...so, it would stand to reason that the early release might be in about 1 hour and 48 minutes.
unhappy at the way in which we lost individual purchases for one-off subclasses, magic items, and monsters?
tell them you don't like features disappeared quietly in the night: provide feedback!
Mine works right now. I've been in the book since 9:45 EST.
