I think your extension is FANTASTIC! A god send. Thank you. I've watched the video and Googled and read a bunch on it but I can't figure out why my players can't see my dndbeyond monster rolls in Roll20. They can see everything else, except this. Thank you in advance.
One more question. How does a rogue roll to open locks with Beyond20? The rules state to add dex & proficiency, but I don't see how to do that with Beyond20.

In your equipment, click on the tool, when the pane comes up click on the beyond20 button. It should prompt you for proficiency and what type of modifier to use.

Damnit! I thought I triple checked that. It works. Thank you!
Hey everyone, I know you're all eager to see the Digital Dice integration with Beyond20, so here's a little preview from one of the first successful test from my dev stream session last night :) It also turned out to be a crit that tested rerolling 1s and 2s from Great Weapon Fighting :)
I can't believe I have only just discovered this! Looks absolutely awesome and I will be using it this evening in my game, and passing on a contribution to the author for his efforts.
I have a quick question that I haven't been able to find the answer to in my quick playing around with the extension-
I don't like to roll the damage until I have a successful hit for a weapon attack, so I turn off the "auto roll damage and crit" option. However, if I then successfully hit, what do I click on the DNDB sheet to roll damage? There isn't anywhere that I can see for rolling damage separately?
@brotheroak (i.e. replying to myself!) Apologies - I thought I'd searched this thread for the word "damage" to see if this had been asked before, but the search didn't work, and now that I am actually reading all of this thread, I see this question has been asked, and answered, before!
For any that need reminding :-) If you turn off auto roll for damage and crit, then you roll the To Hit from the DNDB sheet, to then get a damage roll, just click on the Roll20 chat output for the To Hit result (the weapon name, highlighted in pink). If you rolled a crit, it will also show the crit damage too.
I just tried to use the Thieve's Tools as mentioned, but all it does when I click the Beyond20 button is send the description to my Roll20 game. What am I missing?

I ran into it a where it does this but I can't recreate it to report the bug. It always just seems to work 98% of the time. If you try it again does it work? If not can you post a link to your character?

Me too - this happened to me a few days ago in a session. Initially thieves tools was working correctly (displayed the actual roll, after asking for the attribute and proficiency level) but then it stopped working - every time I clicked on it in DND Beyond it just displayed the description - no roll, no asking for input. It did this multiple times. At the end of the session I tested it again and it was working again but that could be linked to the fact that I had restarted my laptop by then.
Beyond20 is a Chrome and Firefox extension that lets you integrate the D&D Beyond character with Roll20, Foundry VTT and Discord. It also has its own integrated Dice Roller for those of you who prefer that.
You can click on any of the side panels in D&D Beyond to roll the dice directly into your VTT chat. It support all roll types in your character sheet, monster pages and spell pages. It is also integrated with the new My Encounters page, and it has tons of features and customization possibilities.
The information you really care about is how to install it, so here's the link to the Chrome Store and to the Mozilla Add-ons page to install the extension and try it out right away.
You can view screenshots of it running here, or watch a quick demo here (though it's extremely outdated, it shows the basic functioning well enough).
If you find bugs or if you have suggestions on features or how to improve it in any way, let me know!
Enjoy!

Fixed! One of my players is saying she's not getting a connection between dndbeyond and roll20. The "not connected to VTT" error message keeps popping up on rolls. I asked her to uninstall Beyond20 and reinstall it, but not sure if it'll fix the problem. Any idea where the disconnect could be? Any help is appreciated. Game in one hour (yeah, she procrastinates).
Deleting the extension and readding it fixed it!! Yeah baby!!
Ok, so I am fairly new to roll 20. I joined a campaign as a player, and this extension works awesomely in that campaign.
However, I also DM a game, and we are starting to use Roll20 because of the COVID situation. When the characters roll in DND beyond it is not connecting/coming over to Roll 20 ... do I have to set something up somewhere connecting the two? How can I get this fixed?
I've noticed in some games I've been playing, the display to VTT info isn't really showing, just the name. Is it because things from Wildemount or other books not added yet?
I've seen it happen with Planar Warrior with a friend. Today I tried it with Darkvision (Ravenite Dragonborn) and the Draconic Ancestry (also, Ravenite Dragonborn) and it only showed the name, character's name followed by "Race: Ravenite Dragonborn".
Is there anything specific we need to do for these changes?

Make sure you have the 5e sheet set in your game settings.

It's set to "D&D 5e by Roll 20", is there something else that it should be set for?
I can't find anywhere in Roll20 to link to my campaign number or url, nor vice-versa, I keep thinking that maybe somehow I'm supposed to do something with that ... or to link the character in roll20 to the character in dndbeyond. But I can't find where i would enter those settings or that info.
D&D 5e by Roll 20 is correct. You don't need to link them, you just need to have roll20 and wherever you are rolling from in dndbeyond both open in the same browser (chrome or firefox). Does anything happen? Do you get a error message in either system? Do you have the plugin enabled in your browser?

You most likely have Monster Rolls set to Whisper GM. Check your settings for that.
Where is the Monster Rolls setting? I'm looking in dndbeyond, beyond20 and Roll20 settings. Not finding it.
THANKS!!!
There's an additional setting that says something like "always whisper monster rolls" it's in the "more options" section
