Is there a list of maps available to us anywhere? For example I can go to game rules and spells to see a list of all spells and if I've purchased them then I have access to them. I'm building a campaign and my players will be staring in Waterdeep. I've purchased the legendary edition and I'm sure there is a least one map in all of the books but the only way I've found of looking for a map is to actually looks through the books for the maps. I'm hoping I don't have to look through everything whenever I want to find a map.
Unfortunately, there is not. Not sure if it's something they are looking to do with existing content, but based on the bottom of Baldur's Gate Descent Into Avernus table of contents, they might be adding it in future editions. (Hopefully)
For what it's worth, the only way I've been able to find maps is to go book to book, chapter to chapter. If you click on the first image, you can quickly cycle through all the images rather than scroll down the entire webpage. (Probably what you are already doing, but I just had to do this myself to find a decent tavern map for a recent session)
If you are doing what I did, which is to look for maps to insert into your adventures that are not tied to a module, I highly recommend just taking the time to download them all into a folder on your computer. That way, whenever you need one you can just cycle through the images there. Since I'm not using the maps for a module, I just save the player version and not the DM version.
I don't understand why you'd go chapter to chapter in the Balder's Gate one. In the Table of Contents it lists all the maps. Most adventures do.

That's why I specifically referenced that one as an indication that they might be doing this on new adventures. But it's one of the only ones. What other adventures have you seen that have it set up like that? I just looked through all of them and it's the only one.

CoS has a few maps listed together, but if I want a map of the church in it, I can only get that by going to chapter 3 and scrolling to the end of the chapter. Eberron has some maps in the table of contents, but if I want the Arcane Workshop I have to go to chapter 4 and scroll to find it. BGDiA is the only adventure that has every single map in the book listed in the table of contents with links to take you directly to them. (Haven't picked up EGtW yet, so not sure if it does.)
Basically, if I'm prepping a homebrew encounter that is going to happen in my game and want a battlemap of a cave and/or dungeon, I know I have access to several from what I own here, but I also know it's going to take a while to find all of them. To ShiroXIII's point, it would be nice if all the maps were easily accessible. Or for me, even if they ALL were listed in each book's table of contents. (Not just a couple.) That's why I like what they did with Baldur's Gate so much.
