I want to make my world map match a giant magic circle. Here is the circle that I want to use
The Gods created the circle and intended it as an inescapable prison for an ancient and deadly primordial. The lines represent canals, that channels enormous amounts of nature or earth magic. The magic flowing through these canals act as the walls and floor and dome of the prison., keeping the ancient one confined.
Chaos Druids, whose spirits are also bound by the magic of the circle, act as jailors and keepers—making sure that the magic continues to flow. They take care of the needs of the ancient one, to ensure that it never wakes up. They live deep underground, in small settlements in the upper dark and have not seen the surface for generations.
A side effect of having so much nature magic flowing through the canals, life flourished and eventually covered up the circle, burying it under thousands of years of dirt and rubble, debris, and the detritus of life.
As time passed, those sensitive to the magic of the earth began to build their homes and settlements, farms and churches, towns, and cities at the points of the circle where the magical energy was the most concentrated. The settlements are represented by the interior semi and full circles - each of which is connected by roads that follow the exact paths of the canals.
The builders did not know about the circle or its purpose; they were simply following the flow of magic that they could feel within the earth.
That is about all the ideas I had for why the world map would look like this. How might I turn this into a map so that my world gets laid out as a giant transmutation circle?
Looking forward to your thoughts, whatever they might be.
Cheers,

I don't know why this cheap forum software has so much difficulty in posting a picture.
No worries, I got it. I was having trouble with the sizes and stuff this your pic is awesome because it gives me an idea of the size of each place, and thus the population as well.
Thanks a huge bunch

The world is spherical, and the circle has been carved into it, with the canals cut through forests, deserts, mountains and even the ocean floor.
Essentially the circle wraps the entire world in a giant magical lock, but if you could remove it and lay it out, it would lay out like a flat circle.
I think that there is like a demi-plane or demi-dimension that is the prison of the ancient one, which was explicitly created by the Gods to put it to sleep. So, the ancient one slumbers in their eternal prison, and this magic circle has essentially turned the entire world into one large lock, to ensure that the ancient one never escapes from its prison, even if it wakes up.
To further ensure that the lock can never be broken entirely, the Gods made it, so that it would draw its power from nature. So basically, life provides the ability to ensure the lock remains closed forever, and the concentrated energies flowing through the canals encourages life to not only exist but to thrive.
The only way for the lock to be broken is the destruction of all life in the entire world.
Only the Chaos Druids can travel back and forth between the living world and the slumbering world (I am tempted to steal a name and call it "the painted world"). They were giving this ability by the Gods, who chose their ancestors as jailors and keepers of the ancient one, and as locksmiths to ensure the lock was never broken.
They were chosen specifically because they are extremely sensitive to nature and the magic of the earth. Getting chosen was a dubious honour; however; as to ensure they were able to perform their duties, the Gods bound their souls to the circle. They are jailors and keepers and locksmiths, but as the ancient one, they are also prisoners. Only their prison is their very existence as they are trapped in an endless reincarnation cycle, similar to Elves. They are born, they live and die, and then they're born again.
The only way for them to be free is for the lock to be broken, and the ancient one to wake from its slumber. Only then, in the twilight of the Gods will Chaos Druids find peace, and only with the ending of the world, will they finally be free.
So that was a way more detailed answer than you asked for, but I hope it helps you better understand.

--- EDIT ---
I am also thinking of changing the name of the Chaos Druids, as that is confusing. I am thinking of calling them "Shepherds" instead. I could then homebrew a "circle of the shepherd" for druids. Being part of that circle would give you some special abilities. I haven't worked out what yet though.

Is your world a ringworld? Or a Sphere?
Sphere makes it a lot more complicated.
The world is spherical, and the circle has been carved into it, with the canals cut through forests, deserts, mountains and even the ocean floor.
Essentially the circle wraps the entire world in a giant magical lock, but if you could remove it and lay it out, it would lay out like a flat circle.
