Disclaimer: Outside of a certain surrogate character, this document in no way makes grung a legal, playable race in the D&D Adventurers League, or any other campaign where the Dungeon Master hates amphibians with an excess of apostrophes in their names… and yes if you’re not immune to poison and you must touch the grung to heal it… you get to make a saving throw.

Since I don't play in Adventures League but in a campaign where the DM likes amphibians with an excess of apostrophes in their names - I'll second the request for having this available in the Marketplace. :)
Unfortunately, unlike the Tortles, the Grung aren't AL legal apart from the Rogue surrogates.
I bet most people won't care that they are not AL legal...
I know I couldn't care less.
I couldn't care less either, but since AL is Wizards premier in-store gaming experience thats purpose is to drive sales and push a sense of community, I totally understand if D&D Beyond, whose job it is to be an aid for that kind of play, would prioritize AL legal publications before others. That's why I'm not surprised we got the Tortle Package but will be surprised if we see Grungs any time soon.

Well, if they choose to not support 3rd party content or non-AL content, then this may be a short lived experiment. I'll be back to Fantasy Grounds... I think the players who are concerned about AL are a small minority.

Fortunately, I happen to know that they are planning to support 3rd-party content.

I thought I had seen that somewhere. I have been a big proponent of D&D Beyond, and really like what they have done so far. I look forward to see where it goes, but really don't want to see them limit themselves by excluding popular content. FG seems to go out of their way to incorporate content from other parties. I hope Beyond does the same at some point.
When I heard the grung were on dmsguild, I thought it would be another tortle situation. But having gone to the site and seeing that One Grung Above is not official content, I'm not as ready to nag the Curse gang about them as I was about the Tortle Package. I'm fine with supporting Extra Life through dmsguild on this one, and when homebrewability is expanded here I'll just add those traits from OGA here. If by some quirk of fate it becomes available here for charity, I'll be okay with spending a little extra to reduce my workload.
As Homebrew races are on the roadmap, pretty sure not long after the system launches we will see Grungs on the public homebrew.
Hmm - wonder if Curse have a system similar to DMsGuild in the works to allow transactional public homebrew? ie, the DMs Guild authors could publish DDB versions of their content for purchase.

Personally, I like that all of my materials are consolidated here. At this point, buying something on DMs Guild would be as limiting as buying a physical book (which I'm also not doing).
If One Grung Above is made available here, I'd buy it immediately.

So the Grung race is up on dmsguild now with proceeds going to Extra Life. Any chance we might get this added like the Tortle package?

How to add Tooltips
Maybe not, but that shouldn't prevent them from being added to the character builder.
We'll check with staff, but please bear in mind that this is an unofficial race, from a charity raising effort.

Still nothing from BadEye or Staff that can confirm that will be available in market place here soon ?

Maybe there could be a special section on DDB in the future devoted to Charity-related projects, from both official and unofficial sources.
