If you skim the lists on backgrounds in the PHB, you'll notice that many traits skirt the edge of being a "flaw", and there's a lot of variability in how flawed the flaws are. Don't overthink it.
The only thing I'd say is that it makes your character seem passive - "fear of loss" leads to "no close relationships" without saying what it is you do as an agent. This can make it hard to apply in each circumstance. Try something like "I keep people at arm's length." Then you know what you do when someone tries to be friendly or asks for personal information.

ah I see , that makes more sense now (and I like that flaw as well ). Thank you for the advice and the point of view as well !
Hello Everyone , I'm not sure if this is correct place for this or not , but looking for advice about flaws for my PC.
The flaw I'm using (or would like to use) is " My fear of loss keeps me from forming close relationships with others"
I'm not sure if I'm over thinking it (which I probably am) but does this sound more like a trait than a flaw?
any advice or just even another point of view would be appreciated.

Even a blind squirrel finds a nut once in awhile.
I really like the flaw "I will never trust anyone as much as I trust myself" from the Urchin background.
