This might answer a question I posted in a new thread, but to make sure: this means that I cannot create a character and assign it to one of my own campaigns, correct?
Figured it out, thanks to MellieDM in another thread. I have to open the campaign using the same link that I send to my players. Then I can attach one of my characters to the campaign. After that, I can click on "unassign" and let another player claim that character. This was exactly what I was looking for. I'm posting it here as it seems to be what the OP was looking for as well.
Hello
ive been trying to search through the forums and have yet to find a answer to my question.
basically I have some players that aren’t tech savvy To go through the site or might not have time to create the character fully.
So I’m wondering if I as a dm can make a character sheet in my campaign and assign it to a player who had joined my campaign?
Thank you all for your help.
Not yet, but it is planned.

Yep, that feature was just added yesterday! So that's probably why there wasn't much talk about it anywhere.
Thank you this is perfect news!
