If you're the dm you control the pcs world, so you could say they are allowed more cantrips.
Yes, but there are hard limits on amount of cantrips known on here on a character. I don't think there is a way to increase it currently, which is what thedirector is asking about.
I'm confident that there will come a time, eventually, once everything is on solid foundations, that there won't be much you can't customise or homebrew on here. It's kinda a matter of, "Patience, Grass Hopper."

Having said that, WHEN DAMMIT? WHEN?!
BadEye had said that they want to put in a thing when they redo the builder which basically is "Enable restraints". Don't know entirely what that applies to on the character, but it's something.
I mean for now, it's not super duper difficult to just add them in the notes section. It's funny that they don't allow you to add more since learning spells is a pretty common reward for characters playing magic users...
I made a Magic item that has a lot of the fire cantrips that work at will. You can make a magic ring that doesn't require attunement and presto it works.

Thanks all - I'm new, didn't mean to stir up any animosity about development times, just thought I was forgetting something.
Nah yer good bro.
It's a pretty common home-rule to add additional flavor/class-feature Cantrips. Warlock just gets EB, Druid gets Druidcraft, Wizard/Sorc gets Prestidigitation, etc etc etc. without counting against the Cantrips Known chart.
Yeah! when DAMMIT!!! i haven't even been using DnD beyond for very long and i think that's a major draw back. this is only going to make me use paper and pencil and not pay you money. please fix.

Is there a way for a homebrew item to add to the number of cantrips a character knows, or a way for the DM to increase cantrip slots?
