So I just got the sourcebooks for Christmas and was wondering if there is a way to upload your books or give like a code so I could use the races from Volos guide on here.
I assume you mean you got the physical, paper version of the books and would like to use their contents on DDB. That is not possible: WotC and D&D Beyond are separate companies, offering separate products. Buying one doesn't give you any rights to the other. I know that's a little frustrating, but it is what it is. D&D Beyond doesn't earn anything from physical book sales, so they can't very well give away their products for free.

Want to start playing but don't have anyone to play with? You can try these options: [link].
You can use the homebrew system, though. It doesn't take a whole lot of time, and there are plenty of folks on the homebrew forum who'd be happy to help you figure out how to/if it's possible to recreate certain features. As long as you don't try to publish your homebrew content, and just keep it for personal/in-campaign use, it's a totally viable option.
Yeah, thanks for the info I just don't know how to give options, for example one player is running a Kenku and I want to use dnd beyond character sheets however I don't know how to set up choosing two skills from a list of like 5.
