Is it possible to create a duplicate of a character sheet? And more specifically could I create a copy of a sheet one of my campaign players has shared. so I have it in my characters section? I'm considering making an evil doppelganger, just want to switch a few things around.
I simply made a second character in preparation for leveling up to play around and see what that might look like. Pretty fast to do, just need a different first or last name to differentiate it from the original.
The ability to copy & transfer characters is something that's planned, but the functionality isn't available at the moment.
So seeing this post is a bit dated, when can we expect this feature to be implemented?

You can copy characters in the My Characters section. You can only do it if you have room for the copy - so if you're at 6/6 without a subscription then you're stuck until you delete one or get a subscription.

You cannot copy other people's characters directly. You can ask others to make a copy of their own characters, unclaim their copy, and then you can claim the unclaimed copy as your own.

I believe the Copy link doesn't appear when you have reached the character slot limit. Deleting a character to free up a slot should make it reappear.
