Hello to anyone that reads this post. I'm currently looking for an online game, preferable in the evenings. I DM for my friends but I would prefer to play, as i miss the mystery of not knowing whats happening. I can use discord, or twitch, along with roll 20, and i'm open to other options. I really want to play with people who are as committed as I would be and can have fun playing with.
prefer after 8pm-9pmEST start on almost any day of the week, within reason :)
I would be comfortable starting around 7:30 PM EST and going till 11:30 or Midnight. As for group size, Minimum: 3 Max: 5. I can do six if we have to but that’s an “what if” scenario. Does this work for you?
I would love to join a group and could play most evenings. I am also EST. I have a few starter characters on here that I could use. I'd prefer not to DM, though I have DMed quite a bit.
I'd certainly be interested, and Tuesday evenings 8-midnightish works for me. I'm new to Dndbeyond, but I've been playing Pathfinder and various other systems for about fifteen years now. Pretty new to 5E, but I really like the system/world changes I'm seeing.
Roll20 has really nice tools. You can set up maps (as rudimentary or detailed as you prefer) it has plenty of character sheets and auto-calculators. The main con is that there are definite connectivity problems.
Discord is really great for the straightforward of talking to people, be it by video, audio, or simply text.
Some people will do a combination of the two: Open up a discord video/audio chat and then set up maps/campaign notes in Roll20.
i run a campaign on roll 20 using twitch for my friends, but i have used discord in the past. but i'm open to other suggestions. i'm glad to see many people interested in a similar timeslot
i'll ask my friend to fill up the 5th slot, and i'm ok with almost anything. i like combat but like rp as well. i leave the rules for character making in the hands of the DM
Yep, same here. I tend to gravitate toward character development and role-playing, but I enjoy a good kerfuffle as much as any. Rules and setting are totally at your discretion.
If you guys don’t mind, I want you all to use the standard ability score stats in the Player’s Handbook when making your character’s.
Also, since we’re starting out as a new group, I would like for us also start at level 1.
No material components will be neccessary for spells but the verbal and signs will be
I will need you to send me your character sheets over DnD beyond if anyone knows how to do that.
Also, Do you all want a specific campaign to play, like “Curse of Straud” or something, or would you prefer I create a homebrew which I have started an opening for one

I would be interested in putting together a group if you find a DM.
I’m looking to get back to DMing a group. I’m free Tuesday evenings EST.
what time works best for you? and how many people are you willing to handle as a DM?

currently i get off work at 7 and prefer to eat dinner before we play rather than during, but whatever helps make the game work.
We can start at 8 or 8:30 if that helps.
Other than yourself and gdyer, do we have anyone else who could play with us?
either works for me. I currently do not know of anyone else looking.

I appreciate your consideration.
i have 1 friend who might be down to schedule a weekly thing. i just don't think he wants to DM either lol
I’m more than willing to DM. Where do we want to play online? This will be my first time DMing online.
we could use discord or roll 20. But I'll let some of the more experienced online guys make the decision. Never played online.

Why don’t we do table top on ROLL 20 and Audio through Discords with the 4 people that hve responded:
-IonX87
-gdyer220
-Dred_Stonerunner
-BWLGeorge
If this okay with everyone, I say we talk about what kind of campaign we want to play.
i’ll leave the fifth spot open for anyone else who may want to join
